Pantera, Tool Among Headliners for 2023 Welcome to Rockville Festival
The new Pantera lineup, Tool and more have been tapped to headline the 2023 edition of Welcome to Rockville
Welcome to Rockville Festival has unleashed its 2023 lineup, and two big names top the list of headliners: Pantera and Tool. Two other mammoth acts, Slipknot and Avenged Sevenfold, flesh out the 2023 headlining lineup.
Welcome to Rockville Festival will take place May 18 through 21 at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Other acts scheduled to perform include Godsmack, Rob Zombie, Deftones, Queens of the Stone Age, Evanescence, Alice Cooper, Incubus and The Mars Volta, plus more.
“We are so excited to be bringing this fantastic lineup to Welcome To Rockville,” Danny Wimmer, founder of promoter Danny Wimmer Presents, said in a statement. “Our fans have been wanting Pantera and along with one of Avenged Sevenfold’s first live shows in five years, crowd favorite Slipknot, AND one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Tool, we are delivering a jam-packed weekend to the ‘The World Center of Rock.’ Can’t wait to see everyone in May!”
Looking at the daily bills, Slipknot will headline on Thursday (May 18). Other performers scheduled for that day include Bullet for My Valentine, Black Veil Brides, Puscifer, Trivium, Suicidal Tendencies, Avatar, Converge, Band-Maid, Bloodywood and more. Avenged Sevenfold are slated to perform Friday (May 19), along with support from Evanescence, Hardy, I Prevail, Motionless In White, Asking Alexandria, Sleeping with Sirens, Badflower, Ayron Jones, Memphis May Fire and more.
Panetra will headline the festival on Saturday (May 20). Other bands and artists scheduled for that day include Godsmack, Alice Cooper, Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, Alter Bridge, Suicide Silence, Sepultura, The Bronx, Knocked Loose, Rival Sons, Chevelle, Ho99o9 and more. Tool will close out the final day of the event on Sunday (May 21), with other artists appearing including from Deftones, Incubus, The Mars Volta, Coheed and Cambria, Pennywise, Ghostemane, Grandson, Sueco, Filter, Deafheaven, Anti-Flag, Senses Fail, Nova Twins and more.
