Foo Fighters, Tool, Green Day and Pantera Set for 2023 Louder than Life
Louder than Life 2023 features some heavy-hitters for headlining acts
The crew behind the 2023 Louder Than Life festival have announced their full lineup, which faetures a bevy of big-named rock and metal acts. This year’s lineup features Foo Fighters, Green Day, Tool, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer, Turnstile, Limp Bizkit, Rancid and many more.
The four-day music festival will happen Sept. 21 through 24 at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. Four-day and single-day passes to Louder Than Life are already available via the festival’s website.
Foo Fighters will headline the event on Thursday night, rounding out a bill the features Weezer, Rancid, 311, Coheed and Cambria, Royal Blood, Code Orange, White Reaper, L7, Deafheaven, Nothing But Thieves, Sueco, Movements, The Bronx, nothing, nowhere., Mannequin Pussy and more. This is a bit of a more alternative-leaning bill that Louder than Life has been known for in the past, with hard rock and heavy metal being the norm.
“The fans spoke and we listened,” Danny Wimmer of festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents said in a statement. “The Foo Fighters, Green Day, Tool and Avenged Sevenfold were our most fan-requested bands for 2023, so being able to deliver this massive lineup to them is so special.”
Friday will feature Tool headlining, with more acts from Godsmack, Limp Bizkit, Megadeth, Corey Taylor, Dance Gavin Dance, Bad Omens, Wage War, Avatar, Fever 333, Kittie, Enter Shikari, Miss May I and more.
Saturday brings Avenged Sevenfold headlining and more performances from Pantera, Falling in Reverse, Pierce the Veil, Parkway Drive, BABYMETAL, Asking Alexandria, Dethklok, The Hu, The Amity Affliction, Memphis May Fire, Suicide Silence, Sleep Token, Whitechapel, Jesus Piece and more.
