Avenged Sevenfold are back and have announced their first tour since 2018. The band will embark on a summer 2023 North American tour with support from Alexisonfire.
The trek, being called the first leg of Avenged Sevenfold’s “Life Is But a Dream… Tour,” will hit just 13 cities. The dates begin July 18 in Camden, New Jersey, and clsoe out Aug. 7 in Vancouver. A Live Nation pre-sale starts Wednesday (March 29) at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster using the code OPENER, and general ticket sales start Thursday (March 30) at 10 a.m. ET.
Avenged Sevenfold will be touring behind their upcoming album, “Life Is But a Dream…,” out June 2 via Warner Records. The album already has a top 10 single on the active rock radio chart with “Nobody.” To date, the band has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide and earned two consecutive No. 1 albums on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart with 2010’s “Nightmare” and 2013’s “Hail to the King.”
In addition to the headlining tour dates, the band is slated to appear at the Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple festivals. Avenged Sevenfold currently features M. Shadows, Synyster Gates, Zacky Vengeance, Johnny Christ and Brooks Wackerman.
