Alter Bridge and Creed Guitarist Mark Tremonti to Release Holiday Album
Mark Tremonti holiday album: The famed rock guitarist will release his first-ever Christmas collection this year
Talk about Christmas in July. Mark Tremonti of Alter Bridge, Creed and Tremonti has announced his first-ever holiday album, and it’s just July. Sure, Christmas is more than five months away, but it’s never too early to start getting ready for the festive season. Also, it seems stores have already started loading in some holiday items. Regarding the Mark Tremonti holiday album, expect some classics and a surprise.
Tremonti’s upcoming holiday record, “Christmas Classics New & Old,” will arrive Oct. 27. The set is available for pre-order here. The collection sees Tremonti interpreting nine Christmas classics and one original song, penned by himself. The holiday classics include familiar names, such as “Jingle Bells,” “The First Noel,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “O Holy Night,” “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town,” “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” and more. In other news, Tremonti and Creed recently announced a major reunion for their first gig in more than a decade. The show will take place on the Summer of ’99 Cruise. Other acts booked for the cruise include 3 Doors Down, Buckcherry, Tonic, Fuel, Vertical Horizon, The Verve Pipe, Tantric, Dishwalla, Nine Days and Veruca Salt’s Louise Post. The cruise will set sail on the Norwegian Pearl on April 18, 2024, from Miami. From there, it will head to Nassau, Bahamas, before returning on April 22, 2024.
