Creed Reunion Tour Dates: Band Unveils Big Roster of Shows
The Creed reunion is officially a go
For years now, the guys of Creed have said they’re open to a reunion. In fact, Audio Ink Radio has interviewed several members of Creed over the years, including Mark Tremonti and Scott Phillips, who have all said that when the timing was right, they’d be open to a real reunion run. Well, I’m here to tell you that day is here. Creed are officially back, and a full-fledged list of Creed reunion tour dates is here.
The rock band has just announced their 2024 North American reunion tour, which they’ve dubbed the “Summer of ’99 Tour.” This will be their first outing in 12 years, and they’re bringing along some big-named support acts. 3 Doors Down will join them on most dates, while Finger Eleven will open all shows. But that’s not all. Select concerts will feature Daughtry, Switchfoot, Tonic, or Big Wreck in place of 3 Doors Down.
As for what band members has previously said about a reunion, Tremonti told Audio Ink Radio in an interview earlier this year, “I’m sure something will happen at some point. Creed was such a popular band back in the day, it would be a shame to not do something with it. I know there’s still tons of fans out there that would appreciate it, so it’s just a matter of timing.”
The tour kicks off on July 17 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and runs through Sept. 28 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. If you’re in San Bernardino, California on Aug. 31, you’ll also have the chance to see the “Summer of ’99 and Beyond Festival,” which will include 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Finger Eleven, Fuel, Vertical Horizon and The Verve Pipe. A Live Nation pre-sale starts Wednesday (Nov. 1) at 10 a.m. local time using the code BACKSTAGE, and the general on-sale begins Friday (Nov. 3) via Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. local time.
Creed recently shared news about their reunion by organizing two cruises scheduled for the spring of 2024. The Summer of ’99 and the Summer of ’99 and Beyond cruises will embark on back-to-back journeys in April, departing from Miami and Orlando, respectively. It’s worth mentioning that both cruises were completely sold out within just a few days of being available for purchase.
The tour news arrives as Creed finds themselves in the spotlight once again. Their music has become the soundtrack for the Texas Rangers, who are currently battling it out in the World Series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Just recently, all four band members had the pleasure of attending one of the Rangers’ ALCS home games against the Houston Astros. They even joined in on a stadium sing-along of their hit song “Higher.”
