Metal titans Iron Maiden have announced a fall 2024 North American leg of their “Future Past Tour.” The trek promises to have Bruce Dickinson and company performing songs from the band’s seminal 1986 release, “Somewhere in Time,” as well as their latest LP, 2021’s “Senjutsu.”
The latest tour late begins Oct. 4 in San Diego and continues through a Nov. 17 date in San Antonio, Texas. The booking also includes the news that Iron Maiden will be one of the headlining acts at the 2024 Aftershock festival in Sacramento, California.
Pre-sale tickets for the dates go on sale via a Live Nation pre-sale starting at 10 .m. local time on Wednesday (Nov. 1). Then, general tickets go on sale on Friday (Nov. 3). The tour dates are the first major concerts Iron Maiden have played in North America on their “The Future Past Tour.”
Of the tour, Iron Maiden bass player Steve Harris said, “We’re really excited to be bringing ‘The Future Past Tour’ back to Canada and the United States next year. We know from the reaction of our fans at Power Trip and the shows we played in Canada recently that they really enjoyed hearing new songs from both ‘Senjutsu’ and ‘Somewhere in Time,’ and we’ve really enjoyed playing them!”
He added, “So it’s going to be a great experience for us to visit many other cities across North America and bring this new show to those fans who’ve waited patiently to see it. See you all in 2024.”
