Staind Announce 2024 Tour Dates with Seether + Saint Asonia
Staind tour dates: the band will hit the road with Seether and Saint Asonia in 2024
There was a time when I thought Staind was done. Frontman Aaron Lewis seemed much more interested in his solo music, and guitarist Mike Mushok was busy with other projects, such as Saint Asonia. But, there’s no arguing that Staind is one of the biggest rock bands to come from the late-1990s and early-2000s post-grunge era, so the demand was and is there. Now, the guys have a new album out, 2023’s “Confession of the Fallen,” and have spent much of this year touring with Godsmack. That trend will continue next year, as Staind have announced new tour dates for 2024. So, who is on tour with Staind? This time around, it’s Seether, Saint Asonia and newcomer Tim Montana.
The tour, dubbed “The Tailgate Tour,” runs just 11 dates, mainly throughout the Midwestern and Eastern U.S. Staind will begin the trek on April 22 in Brandon, Mississippi, and continue on the road through a May 15 date in Pelham, Alabama. View the full roster of Staind tour dates below. It’s extra cool to see Saint Asonia on the bill, because of the Mushok ties. Also, produced by Live Nation, tour brings together Staind and Seether for the first time in years.
“I’m really looking forward to being back on the road with my good friends Seether, Tim Montana and Saint Asonia,” Staind lead vocalist Aaron Lewis said in a statement. “It’s going to be a great time.”
Staind is touring in support of the band’s latest album, the aforementioned “Confessions of the Fallen,” which marked their first studio album in 12 years. The band’s latest single off the record, “Here & Now,” just moved inside the Top 5 at Active Rock radio. For a band that’s been together for nearly 30 years, it’s pretty remarkable to see Staind still on top of the modern rock charts.
The new dates aren’t a total surprise. This fall, Mushok spoke with Audio Ink Radio in an interview and said the guys were planning to hit the road in 2024. “Well, there’s definitely more touring,” Mushok said. “I know that we’re trying to figure out what next year’s going to be right now. So, there’s definitely that. I’m just kind of taking it as it goes. Listen, I love writing music in this band. I definitely get a lot of enjoyment out of it, and I’m very proud of what we’ve done.” Find Audio Ink Radio’s full interview with Mike Mushok of Staind here.
