New 2024 Tours Announced: Chevelle, In This Moment, Clutch, Alice Cooper
Tuesday (April 16) has been a massive day for new 2024 tours announced, as several rock and metal acts have made major tour announcements on the same day. Chevelle, In This Moment, Ice Nine Kills, Alice Cooper, Clutch, Rival Sons and more have all announced tours in just one day. Let’s get into new 2024 tours announced just today.
New 2024 Tours Announced
Chevelle will tour this summer on a headlining North American tour with support from Tigercub. Chevelle will set off their headlining run on July 21 in Omaha, Nebraska, and wrap up on Aug. 10 in Madison, Wisconsin. Chevelle are currently working on the follow-up to their newest album, 2021’s “NIRATIAS.” Find tour dates.
In This Moment and Ice Nine Kills will hit the road on a co-headlining tour, which they also did last year, as the “Kiss of Death Tour Part 2.” That trek will begin in August 2024 with support from Avatar and TX2. The tour will begin Aug. 6 in Saratoga Springs, New York, and run through a Sept. 10 show in Chesterfield, Missouri. “We are thrilled to announce we are joining forces once again with the one and only Ice Nine Kills and special guests Avatar,” In This Moment said in a collective statement. “We all knew after finalizing the first leg of this tour that there was no other choice than to bring it back for more dates. Moving on with more new 2024 tours announced, Alice Cooper, the king of shock rock, has announced a new summer 2024 U.S. headlining tour. The run will take place before his tour with co-headlining trek with Rob Zombie. The new dates will begin July 30 in Niagara Falls, New York, and run through an Aug. 17 stop in Tucson, Arizona. Then, the Cooper will start his trek with Rob Zombie on Aug. 20 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Get tour dates.
Clutch and Rival Sons are coming together for a 2024 North American tour. The tour, called “The Two-Headed Beast” tour, will also have openers Fu Manchu and Black Stone Cherry. The trek will begin Sept. 5 in Brooklyn, New York, and runs through an Oct. 10 gig in Las Vegas, Nevada. “We are looking forward to our tour with Rival Sons,” Clutch singer Neil Fallon said in a statement. “Throughout the course of our set, Clutch will be performing Blast Tyrant. Both bands have plenty of mutual fans and will garner many more throughout the course of ‘The Two Headed Beast’ tour. We hope to see you there!” Get information.
Finally, rounding out new 2024 tours announced on Tuesday (April 16), Ohio’s Hawthorne Heights have announced a trek with co-headliners Thursday, Saosin, and Anberlin. The tour, dubbed “20 Years of Tears,” is to honor the anniversary of their debut album, “The Silence in Black and White.” This trek is huge, clocking more than 50 dates. I See Stars, Cartel and Armor for Sleep will appear on select dates, too. The tour will begin June 22 with Nevada’s Lake Tahoe Is For Lovers. “’20 Years of Tears’ is a celebration of the genre that raised an entire generation, with basement-born bands to stadium headliners,” Hawthorne Heights singer JT Woodruff said in a statement. “Emo comes in all shapes and sizes and has touched the hearts and minds of people from all walks of life.
