Sebastian Bach Gives Hope for a Skid Row Reunion
For years, fans really had no hope of a Skid Row reunion. Both camps were totally uninterested in the idea, and both forged ahead with their own projects. Sebastian Bach has been touring solo for a years now, and the guys of Skid Row have brought on new vocalists to continue the Skid Row brand without Bach. But, now, Bach is giving fans hope for a Skid Row reunion. It’s almost most unbelievable than the Guns N’ Roses reunion, which is course has been going strong for years now.
Sebastian Bach Talks Skid Row Reunion Possibility
Skid Row recently parted ways with their latest singer, Erik Gronwall. So, it’s the perfect time to start talking about a possible Skid Row reunion with former vocalist Bach. In a new interview with Metal Hammer, Bach was asked about the idea of a Skid Row reunion. The interview took place before the news of Gronwall parting ways with Skid Row, by the way.
“For me, doing three albums with Skid Row, I was just getting started,” Bach said of his time with the band. “I didn’t think it would be over and done with so quick.”
Skid Row and Bach did try to reunite back in 2016, but things went bad with guitarist Dave “Snake” Sabo. So, when asked about another potential try at a reunion, Bach gave a lot of hope. He even used the word “definitely.”
“I can definitely see that happening considering they play the same songs I play,” Sebastian said. “When I get a substantial royalty check for an album I did with musicians that I haven’t been in the same room with since 1996, I feel like a piece of s***. Because we should be giving something back to the fans that have made this great life possible.”
It’s nice that Bach is thinking of the fans here and how much it would mean to them to see Skid Row reunited.
In other news, Bach recently announced his first solo album in 10 years, “Child Within the Man.” He’ll be on tour in North American this year to support the album’s release. Find tour dates on the band’s official website.
Also, Skid Row have tapped Halestorm vocalist Lzzy Hale to front the band on their upcoming tour dates. Find their tour roster on their official website.
Will a Skid Row Reunion Happen?
One big reason the guys of Skid Row might be open to a reunion is for the cash. Let’s face it: A Skid Row reunion with Sebastian Bach would bring in the dough. There’s no way either camps could make that kind of money on their own. So, if the timing is right and the need is there, it totally makes sense that this reunion would happen. Another reason I believe a Skid Row reunion could happen is because these guys aren’t getting any younger. If they want to reunite, they know that don’t have a ton of time left before they probably don’t want to be on the road. Finally, with age comes maturity, and perhaps these guys are finally mature enough to patch things up and hit the road again.
