Sebastian Bach Once Again Says He Wants a Skid Row Reunion
For years, even decades now, there’s been talk of a possible Sebastian Bach and Skid Row reunion. But, both sides of the table have shot down any inquiries, until lately. Now, Bach says he believes a reunion with his former band can actually happen if they can work on some communication issues. A band is like any relationship. You have to have good communication to be happy.
Sebastian Bach and the Skid Row Reunion Buzz
In April, we wrote about Bach saying in an interview with Metal Hammer that he could absolutely see a Skid Row reunion happening. It was the first time in years he had expressed interest in a Skid Row reunion, and it got fans talking. Now, Bach is opening up about the idea of a reunion and where things are right now.
Speaking with radio host Eddie Trunk on Trunk’s SiriusXM radio show (as transcribed by Blabbermouth), Bach said, “I found out something at the very last KISS show that I did not know before the very last KISS show. And it’s a major piece of miscommunication. And I need to communicate with those guys because there’s been something that happened that is not accurate. I can;t tell you what it is, but the whole narrative of they don’t like me and I’m too crazy is complete bulls***. It’s not true. There’s been attempts to get us going again.”
Sounds like a lot of drama, right? And it continues.
Bach added, “I can just tell the world that there’s a good chance that’ll happen ’cause there’s no f***ing reason not to, ’cause right now, why it hasn’t happened is a miscommunication. That’s all I can say. There’s a miscommunication.”
This almost feels like when a celebrity has a crush on someone in the public and talks about it during an interview in hopes that other celebrity will get word of their said crush. In any case, let’s hope, for the sake of Skid Row fans, that this happens.
Meanwhile, Bach recently set off on a North American tour behind his latest solo album, “Child Within the Man.” He said that he’s really busy right now, but when he has time, he will “write a thoughtful e-mail clearing up a miscommunication.”
“I have to make sure it’s the perfect f***ing e-mail and I don’t say anything wrong or make any jokes,” he added. “I just don’t have the energy to do that right now, but I know I need to do that.”
Bach also didn’t hold back about how much he wants to see a Skid Row reunion happen. “I would love to do it,” he said. “I have dreams about doing it.”
Skid Row recently announced that they were parting ways with Swedish singer Erik Grönwall, who needs to focus on his health. Right now, Halestorm singer Lzzy Hale is filling in on vocals for Skid Row’s upcoming tour dates.
So, will it happen? As I see it, it all comes down to dollars and cents. As much as Sebastian Bach and the guys of Skid Row made in their ’80s heyday, I have a feeling they wouldn’t turn down a very lucrative offer to go on tour together again. It happened with Guns N’ Roses, and the guys made millions. They’re still making millions. Money talks. So, if the money is there, I certainly see this epic Skid Row reunion happening. But, time will tell.
