Mark Tremonti of Creed and Alter Bridge Announces New Album
Mark Tremonti certainly likes to stay busy, and that’s a great thing for his fans. Now, the Creed and Alter Bridge guitarist has announced a new album with his solo band, named Tremonti. The album, called “The End Will Show Us How,” will be released on Jan. 10 via Napalm Records. It’s one of the first album announces we’re getting for 2025 and should start the year off on the right note, pun intended.
Mark Tremonti Announces New Album, Releases New Song
So, Tremonti will release “The End Will Show Us How” in early 2025, but you don’t have to wait that long to hear new music from the group. The band has released the album’s lead single, “Just Too Much,” on all platforms, and it can be streamed below.
What’s special about the Tremonti project is that it allows Mark to step out of what kind of music you would usually hear him play in Creed and Alter Bridge. For example, “Just Too Much” features a strong blues influence with bluesy guitar riffs and Tremonti’s confident, thick vocals. I really believe that for every new Tremonti release, his lead vocals get stronger. He always had great pipes, but since he’s used to being the lead guitarist and just backing vocals, I think it took him some time to had the confidence to really put his voice at the focal point of his music.
For “The End Will Show Us How,” Mark Tremonti is joined by guitarist Eric Friedman, bass player Tanner Keegan and drummer Ryan Bennett. Longtime producer and friend Michael Baskette produced the album, which features 12 new songs. Even though Creed is busy on the road right now, Tremonti and company will promote their music on tour next year, including a European run.
So, Tremonti is out on the road with Creed right now, and they have a ton of major shows lined up through the end of the year. They’re even headlining arenas and amphitheaters. So, it’s a busy time for Creed, but it’s downtime for Alter Bridge. The band toured in 2023 but has been off the road since. Meanwhile, Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy has been keeping busy with solo music and working with Slash.
“The End Will Show Us How” will arrive via Napalm Records. Stream the music video for “Just Too Much” and check out the official track listing below. Also, check out Audio Ink Radio’s recent interview with Mark Tremonti.
