Tool Confirm 2012 Tour Dates
Audio Ink Radio confirms prog-rock band Tool will play a handful of 2012 tour dates
Last week, Ticketmaster posted two mysterious Tool shows for 2012, without a peep from the band. Fans flocked to check out the Arizona and New Mexico event details, but a few hours after appearing, the dates vanished from Ticketmaster’s site, leaving the band’s fans heartbroken. But, there is a happy ending to this story.
Today (Dec. 12), the tour dates reappeared on Ticketmaster’s site, and just to make sure, Audio Ink Radio has confirmed with Tool’s management that, yes, the 2012 dates are correct. Head to Ticketmaster’s website, and you’ll find several Tool shows posted: Jan. 14, at the Reno Events Center in Reno, Nev.; Jan 17, at the Tucson Arena in Tucson, Ariz.; Jan. 18, at the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, N.M.; Jan. 24, at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio; Jan. 29 at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ; Jan. 20 in Grand Prairie, Texas; and Jan. 31 in Uncasville, Conn. As the dates multiply, we’ll update the list, below. Tickets go on sale for the shows starting Dec. 16. Find event details for the shows on Ticketmaster’s website.
Frontman Maynard James Keenan is looking at a jam-packed 2012, as his electro-industrial comedy-rock project Puscifer have also announced a crop of tour dates for next year. Puscifer’s tour starts Feb. 23 in Austin, Texas, and closes out March 18 in Escondido, Calif., so the aforementioned Tool dates don’t conflict with Keenan’s Puscifer run. As for the players, Puscifer’s touring band will consist of two members of Keenan’s alternative rock group A Perfect Circle — bass player Matt McJunkins and drummer Jeff Friedl — plus Josh Eustis, Mat Mitchell and British singer / songwriter Carina Round. Find a complete list of Puscifer 2012’s tour dates, here.

It would be amazing to see Tool in Oregon, or Washington (preferably). Willing to drive most distances to see Tool live. Still my favorite band of all time. It would be a dream come true to see such a performance live. Please keep spreading your message. Much love and respect.
