‘Trespass America Festival’ to feature Five Finger Death Punch, Trivium, Pop Evil, Emmure, God Forbid and Battlecross

Heavy music fans are in for a treat this summer, as Five Finger Death Punch and Killswitch Engage have announced their long-rumored 2012 tour. The trek, billed the “Trespass America Festival,” will also feature metal and hard rock acts Trivium, Pop Evil, Emmure, God Forbid and Battlecross. The show kicks off July 13 in Broomfield, Colo., and runs through Aug. 28 in Los Angeles. Five Finger Death Punch will headline all of the dates. Find a complete list of tour dates, below.

This is an extra special run for Killswitch Engage, since the “Trespass America Festival” marks the first time the guys have toured with lead singer Jesse Leach back in the fold, following Howard Jones’ departure from the band. Leach is no stranger to Killswitch. He sang on the group’s self-titled debut album, which dropped in 2000, and their following release, “Alive or Just Breathing,” out in 2002. Leach left Killswitch Engage in 2002 and rejoined the band earlier this year. Many longtime Killswitch Engage fans are stoked to have Leach back, and this trek will likely draw out masses of the band’s loyal followers.

Five Finger Death Punch are touring in support of their third studio album, “American Capitalist,” which arrived last year. The album totes current active rock hit “Remember Everything,” as well as previous chart-topped “Under and Over It.” Do you think this will be the heaviest and most brutal touring festival of the summer?
