Mark Tremonti readies debut solo album for July release
Creed and Alter Bridge lead guitarist Mark Tremonti is prepping his debut solo album, “All I Was,” and the set is the first to feature Tremonti not only on guitar, but also on lead vocals. Curious how it sounds? Tremonti is giving fans a sample of the disc by posting three tracks from the album online: “So You’re Afraid ,” “ The Things I’ve Seen ” and “You Waste Your Time ,” the latter of which will be the new album’s debut first single.
As for other detail on the new album, the guitarist has announced on his official website that “All I Was” will pack 12 new tracks and is scheduled to reach stores in July 10. The album will get released on Tremonti’s own Fret 12 Records, a label co-founded with brother Daniel Tremonti and Tom Stanley. Tremonti’s band for this release includes Submersed band members Eric Friedman (rhythm guitar) and Garrett Whitlock (drums).
Meanwhile, Tremonti will be on the road through August with Creed, performing the band’s formative albums “My Own Prison” and “Human Clay.” Find an updated list of tour dates on Creed’s official website.
