Nine Inch Nails mastermind penning the soundtrack for ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops II’

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor rarely takes a break from making music. Case in point: The legendary frontman recently inked on to pen the theme song for the upcoming video game, “Call of Duty: Black Ops II.” Now, Reznor has released a short teaser video giving fans a small sampling of Reznor’s soundtrack for the video game.

Reznor also discusses his love for video game culture in the video. “I look at video games as a true art form,” he says in the teaser video. “The chance to be involved in something like this is exciting to me. I feel it’s every bit as viable as film work or music or anything. Video game culture has expanded into the largest form of entertainment.”

Fans still have a ways to go until “Call of Duty: Black Ops II” hits stores. The video game will see its full release on Nov. 13. To say up-to-date with all of Reznor’s projects, visit Nine Inch Nails’ official website.
