Watch Red Hot Chili Peppers’ intimate ‘From the Basement’ performance

Radiohead producer and engineer Nigel Godrich has launched a new season of his podcast-turned-TV series called “From the Basement,” which features footage of intimate performances by big-named bands and artists rocking out in Godrich’s basement studio. Red Hot Chili Peppers are the latest act to get in on the fun, which is appropriate since Godrich, Red Hot Chili Peppers bass player Flea and Radiohead’s Thom Yorke play together in experimental rock band Atoms for Peace. The group’s hour-long episode is available to view on Crackle.com.

Red Hot Chili Peppers performed tracks off last year’s “I’m With You” during the concert. Part 1 of the episode features “Monarchy of Roses,” “Factory of Faith,” “Ethiopia,” “Look Around” and “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie,” while Part 2 offers “Did I Let You Know,” “Goodbye Hooray,” “Police Station” and “Meet Me at the Corner.”

Fans will be able to check out the entire concert in 3D on Saturday (Dec. 22) at 10 p.m. EST on 3net, but those who can’t wait can watch 2D streaming below, courtesy of Crackle.
