Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger is set to play the Grammy Foundation’s Feb. 7 concert in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The Grammy Awards are about a month away, and Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger is ready. While Incubus aren’t up for any awards this year, the guitarist has signed on to be a part of one of the Grammy Foundation’s major events.

Einziger is scheduled to play during a concert event called “Play It Forward: A Celebration of Music’s Evolution and Influencers,” happening at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Feb. 7. The purpose of the show is to take a deeper look at the history of music’s most significant figures and their “impact on the American cultural landscape.”

In addition to Einziger, other artists slated to perform at the show include George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Ed Sheeran, Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell and Lianne La Havas. Additional musicians are expected to be added to the lineup in the coming weeks.

The event is for a good cause, as proceeds from the show will go to the Grammy Foundation’s mission to “cultivate the understanding, appreciation and advancement of the contribution of recorded music to American culture — from the artistic and technical legends of the past to the still unimagined musical breakthroughs of future generations of music professionals.” For more information, please head to the Grammy Foundation’s official website.
