Alter Bridge are gearing up to release a box set featuring tracks spanning their entire career

Alter Bridge are taking some time off from the road this year, but they’re not taking a break from releasing new goodies, as the band will unleash a new box set this spring. The guys have kicked off a new website, AlterBridgeBoxSet.com, just for the occasion, which offers a clock dramatically counting down to the album’s May 14 release.

Alter Bridge haven’t offered up too many details about the set, but they did post a 19-second video clip suggesting that the package will offer music spanning the band’s full career, including their three studio releases — 2004’s “One Day Remains,” 2007’s “Blackbird” and 2010’s “AB III” — plus their recently released “Live at Wembley” and CD and DVD set.

Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy has been busy touring with Slash as of late, and guitarist Mark Tremonti has been on the road in support of his debut solo album, “All I Was.” Even with all the activity, the band has been in the studio prepping to release their fourth studio album, which is on target to drop sometime later this year.
