Soundgarden recently appeared in a fresh episode of PBS’ “Live from the Artists Den,” and while the show carried a whopping 28 songs, the final episode left a few tracks on the cutting board. Now, the series is releasing a new clip from the show, which took place at the Wiltern in Los Angeles, that didn’t quite make the full episode.
PBS has posted a performance of the song “Slaves & Bulldozers” on the “Live from the Artists Den” YouTube channel. The song offers fiery solos from guitarist Kim Thayil and frontman Chris Cornell.
“Live from the Artists Den” is currently in its sixth season, and other artists appearing this season include Two Door Cinema Club, the Killers, the National and Imagine Dragons. Check your local listings or the “Artists Den” website to find out when the show airs in your market.
In other Soundgarden news, the band recently released a new single called “Halfway There” off their current full-length, “King Animal.” The track is currently No. 18 on the active rock radio chart.
