Korn resurrecting their Family Values Tour for one night in October

Korn are bringing their famed Family Values Tour back for one evening only next month. The alternative metal group announced the news via their official Facebook page by posting a poster for the show to the delight of old school fans. The gig will happen on Oct. 5 at the 1st Bank Center in Denver.

On the bill for this year’s Family Values Tour (billed the Family Values Festival this time around) are Korn, Hollywood Undead, Asking Alexandria, Machine Gun Kelly and Beware of Darkness.

The Family Values Tour debuted in 1998 and continued for several runs, including tours in 1999, 2001, 2006 and 2007. The tour is known for featuring a mix of hard rock and hip-hop performers, with past players including Linkin Park, Evanescence, Limp Bizkit, Flyleaf, Stone Sour, Deftones, 10 Years, Ja Rule, Method Man, Redman, DMX, Five Finger Death Punch and Trivium, to name a few.

In other Korn news, the band’s new album, “The Paradigm Shift,” is slated to arrive on store shelves and via online retailers on Oct. 8. It’s the band’s first album to feature original guitarist Brian “Head” Welch since 2003’s “Take a Look in the Mirror.”
