Courtney Love Autobiography Due Out in December
Courtney Love opens up in new memoir, ‘Country Love: My Story’
Hole frontwoman Courtney Love has been teasing the release of a new memoir for quite a while now, but she never had an actual release date—until now. According to a post on the Amazon website, Love’s long-awaited memoir, “Courtney Love: My Story,” will be released on Dec. 15.
According to the Amazon post, the book will tell Love’s life story from “her rocky relationship with her hippy parents” to “the truth behind her drug abuse and recovery.” The book focuses on what made Love famous, too: music. “Beginning in the San Francisco counter-culture, maturing within the world of punk and grunge in the 80s and 90s, the book reveals an artist at the epicentre of alternative culture,” the Amazon description states.
“Courtney Love: My Story” will also tell-all when it comes to Love’s marriage to Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, relationships with fellow ‘90s musicians Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and her engagement to Ed Norton.
Love also has plans to release a solo album and double A-sided single in conjunction with the autobiography.
