Limp Bizkit Frontman Fred Durst Creating Autobiographical Drama for CW
Fred Durst has signed a deal with the CW network to create a television drama about his life
Have you ever wondered what life is like as Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst? Well, Durst is ready to take fans inside his life story with a new television series. According to TV Guide, the outspoken musician is teaming up with the CW network to create a one-hour drama all about his life.
The show, called “The Noise,” promises to tell the story of “a young artist in the 1990s who escapes a tumultuous home life and forms a wildly popular band with a unique sound.” Durst is a co-executive producer for the show. No word yet on whether Durst will appear on-screen in the series. The network has yet to announce when the new program will air, as well.
This isn’t Durst’s first brush with television. In 2011, the frontman created and appeared in a half-hour comedy sitcom called “Douchebag” about a rock star who is juggling his fame with family life. The show never made it to television, but some segments appeared online.
In addition, Durst has directed two movies, “The Education of Charlie Banks” and “The Longshots,” and acted on Fox’s show “House” and NBC’s “Revelations.”
