Linkin Park to Perform ‘Hybrid Theory’ in Full at Download Festival

Linkin Park will play their debut album, ‘Hybrid Theory,’ in its entirety at the 2014 Download Festival in the U.K.

It’s no secret that 2000’s “Hybrid Theory” is a fan favorite when it comes to Linkin Park albums. Now, the alternative rockers have announced they’ll not only perform as a headliner next year’s Download Festival in the U.K., but they’ll also perform every track off that debut album, “Hybrid Theory.”

“We have been kicking around the idea of playing Hybrid Theory for some time and the perfect opportunity is Download 2014,” frontman Chester Bennington said in a statement on the band’s official website. “The legendary energy of the Download crowd is the apex of the rock experience and we are very excited to share this special night with them.”

The 2014 Download Festival is set for June 13-15 at Donington Park in Leicestershire, England. Linkin Park will perform “Hybrid Theory” from front-to-back during their performance on June 14.

In other Linkin Park news, the band recently released an album called “Recharged,” featuring fresh interpretations of songs from their 2012 release, “Living Things.” The album also features a new single called “A Light That Never Comes,” which the band put together with electronic dance music artist Steve Aoki.
