Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden and Arcade Fire to Headline Lollapalooza Chile and Argentina
Lollapalooza Chile and Argentina to feature Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Arcade Fire and more
Lollapalooza in the U.S. may be almost a year away, but festival founder Perry Ferrell and company are gearing up for next year’s shows in Chile and Argentina. The headliners for upcoming both editions of the festival are out, and they include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden and Arcade Fire. Other big acts set for both festivals including Lorde, Pixies, Phoenix, Nine Inch Nails, Vampire Weekend, Imagine Dragons, Portugal. the Man and Cage the Elephant.
The Santiago, Chile, event will happen March 29-30 at O’Higgins Park in Santiago, Chile, while the Buenos Aires, Argentina, edition of Lollapalooza will take place April 1-2 at the Hipódromo San Isidro Racetrack.
Lollapalooza is also set to return to Brazil in 2014, with the festival slated for April 5-6 at the Interlagos Race Track in São Paulo. Festival organizers will release the lineup for that edition on Nov. 11.
Lollapalooza’s anchoring festival will happen Aug. 1-3, 2014, in downtown Chicago. That lineup will be announced this spring.
