Morrissey to Release Remastered Edition of ‘Your Arsenal’
Former Smiths singer Morrissey will release a remastered edition of his third studio album, ‘Your Arsenal,’ in February
The Smiths may not be reuniting at any point soon, or ever, but former frontman Morrissey is keeping busy with his solo work. Morrissey’s latest bit of news is that he’ll release a newly remastered version of his popular 1992 album, “Your Arsenal,” next year.
Parlophone Records will be releasing a definitive master of Morrissey’s third studio album on Feb. 25. The collection will offer the release’s original tracks, including songs such as “You’re Gonna Need Someone on Your Side,” “We’ll Let You Know” and “The National Front Disco,” as well as the original version of “Tomorrow” for the U.S. mix.
On top of the CD, the set arrives with a bonus DVD which features footage from a Morrissey concert recorded on Oct. 31 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif. The DVD features 18 songs spanning Morrissey’s solo albums, plus some B-sides. The “Your Arsenal” reissue will also be available as a double-disc vinyl.
In other Morrissey news, the musician released his autobiography, appropriately titled “Autobiography,” in the U.S. earlier this month.
