Alter Bridge’s Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti to Release DVD of Guitar Lessons

Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti show fans how to play Alter Bridge’s most famous tunes in a new Fret 12 DVD

Alter Bridge‘s Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti are known for their killer guitar skills, and now, they’re giving guitar lessons. Both gents are offering up their playing tips and lessons via the newest edition of Fret 12’s DVD series titled “The Sound and the Story.”

The DVD offers over five hours of tutorials and lessons from Kennedy and Tremonti, including detailed instructions on how to play every song off Alter Bridge’s current full-length, “Fortress.” In addition to the instructional nature of the DVD, the video offers some behind-the-scenes shots of Alter Bridge recording “Fortress,” plus some exclusive interviews with Kennedy and Tremonti and footage from some of the band’s shows.

Alter Bridge’s “The Sound and the Story” will arrive on Jan. 3. The DVD is currently available for pre-order via the Fret 12 website.

In other Alter Bridge news, the band is schedule to perform at Australia’s famed Soundwave music festival next year. The band will also release a box set called “Alter Bridge X” on Jan. 6 to celebrate the group’s decade anniversary.
