Maynard James Keenan-fronted rock band Tool are adding dates to their 2014 tour roster

Tool are slowly adding new tour dates to their spring 2014 roster. The Maynard James Keenan-fronted progressive rock band has just announced six fresh live shows, on top of their previously announced concerts, for a total of 13 shows. The tour as it stands will kick off March 4 in Spokane, Wash., and run through March 27 in Phoenix, with additional dates expected to be added.

Tickets for the newly announced stops will go on sale Friday (Feb. 14) at 10 a.m. local time, except Houston, which will be available starting at noon local time.

In addition to regular tickets, the band will be offering VIP tickets that include a VIP ticket, admission to watch the band’s sound check before the concert, an exclusive Q&A session with guitarist Adam Jones and a gift bag of band merchandise. Members of Tool’s fan club may purchase the VIP tickets starting Thursday (Feb. 13) at 10 a.m. PT via the Tool Army website.

3/24 — Austin, Tex. — Cedar Park Center
