Amon Amarth Plot 2014 Fall North American Tour
Viking metal band Amon Amarth will bring their show this fall to the U.S.
Swedish melodic metal band Amon Amarth will make their way back to North America this fall with a bill of heavy sounds that also includes Sabaton and Skeletonwitch. The trek launches Sept. 25 in Riverside, Calif.
Amon Amarth are known for their dramatic Viking ship set, which they rocked at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival last summer. The guys promise to bring the set out for their Oct. 18 show in New York City.
“Yes, we are coming back to North America, and this time we’re doing Canada and the U.S. together with our friends in Sabaton and Skeletonwitch,” the band said in a statement. “We can also announce that we’ll be bring the Viking ship to the show in New York City! So get ready North America, this time we’ll take no prisoners!”
Amon Amarth have been on an upward trajectory as of late. The group‘s latest album, 2013’s “Deceiver of the Gods,” debuted at #19 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, making it the outfit’s highest-charting album to ever.
