Foo Fighters to Perform an Entire Week on ‘Late Show with David Letterman’

In honor of their upcoming album, Foo Fighters will perform Oct. 13 through 17 on ‘Late Show with David Letterman’

Foo Fighters mania is about to begin. The band will release their much-anticipated upcoming album, “Sonic Highways,” in early November, and to get fans pumped for the new tunes, Dave Grohl and the gang will serve as the musical guest on the “Late Show with David Letterman” for a full week.

Foo Fighters week on Letterman’s show will run from Oct. 13 to 17. During that time, the Foos, as well as some unannounced special guests, will perform songs that helped shape their new album. To kick things off, Letterman will do a full interview with Grohl on Oct. 13. The final show in the series will take place on the same day the Foo Fighters’ HBO documentary, “Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways,” will debut. The documentary series follows the band as they travel across the country, recording their new album, “Sonic Highways,” in various legendary studios. The series will kick off at 11 p.m. ET on HBO.

As for the new album “Sonic Highways,” Nov. 10 is the date the songs will be released to the world. The album is currently available for pre-order on iTunes or the Foo Fighters’ website.
