The Black Keys, Metallica, Dave Grohl and More to Play ‘The Concert for Valor’

‘The Concert for Valor’ pays tribute to the U.S. Armed Forces

Today is Veteran’s Day, and in honor of the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, HBO has put together “The Concert for Valor,” which will air tonight (Nov. 11) live from the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

The show features an A-list lineup of musicians and actors, including Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Metallica, the Black Keys, Rihanna, Eminem, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood and the Zac Brown Band. Celebrity hosts include Jamie Foxx, Bryan Cranston, John Oliver and Meryl Streep, with special tributes from Will Smith, Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon.

Authorities expect an upwards of 800,000 to attend the event. The good news for those who live outside the Washington D.C. area is that “The Concert for Valor” will be televised by HBO at 7 p.m. tonight. The show will also stream live online at The Concert forValor’s official website.
