Linkin Park’s 2015 ‘Hunting Party’ is off due to Chester Bennington’s leg injury

Linkin Park recently hit the road on their “Hunting Party” tour, but the band has just issued a statement canceling the remaining dates of the trek due to a leg injury suffered by frontman Chester Bennington.

“Linkin Park regret to inform their fans they must cancel the remaining dates of ‘The Hunting Party’ tour through February 14, due to a leg injury of lead vocalist Chester Bennington,” the group posted on their official website. “The injury requires immediate medical attention making it physically impossible for Bennington to perform.”

Bennington in his own statement added, “I’m really disappointed this injury has made it impossible to continue with this tour. The first couple of shows were just magical. We will truly miss not being with our fans for the next few weeks. Hope to see you again soon.”

Earlier this week, the band canceled two dates on the tour, one in Pittsburgh and the other in Albany, N.Y. That was quickly followed with the announcement of the remaining tour dates also being canceled. Those who purchased ticket will be able to get full refunds at the point of purchase.

Linkin Park was out to promote their 2014 album, “The Hunting Party.”
