Go inside Led Zeppelin’s ‘Physical Graffiti’ album cover with a new interactive video
Led Zeppelin recently released “Brandy & Coke,” an unreleased early mix of the Zep tune “Trampled Under Foot” with the band’s deluxe reissues of Physical Graffiti. Now, Zep has released an interactive video featuring the song that takes viewers inside the famous rooms of the building pictured on Physical Graffiti’s album cover.
That Physical Graffiti is one of the most identifiable in rock music, so it’s cool to see the guys going one step further with it. Clicking on different windows of the building unveils videos inspired by the legendary cover art.
Some of the rooms reveal Led Zeppelin concert footage, while others offer Zeppelin-appropriate animation or shots of “residents” of the building. Sixteen different videos in total are included in the interactive video.
The reissue of Zeppelin’s Physical Graffiti release arrived last February, in conjunction with the album’s 40th anniversary. The Physical Graffiti reissue is the sixth that the band has released as part of its continuing reissue campaign.
