Radiohead Album Artwork to Be Featured at Australian Art Gallery
Pieces of art from each Radiohead album since ‘OK Computer’ will be on display at Carriageworks
Stanley Donwood is the talented artist who worked with Radiohead to create the artwork on the alternative band’s album covers since 1994. Donwood’s lengthy collection of work will be on display at the Carriageworks art gallery in Sydney, Australia, this spring, and the exhibit will offer thousands different artwork pieces from each Radiohead studio album since “Ok Computer.”
The exhibit, named “Stanley Donwood: The Panic Office,” will offer “some original (artwork), some unseen and all bearing Donwood’s evocative and haunting imagery that helped to create one of the world’s most distinct brands.”
In addition to his work with Radio, Donwood also designed the album artwork for Atoms for Peace’s “Amok” album, which features Yorke and Red Hot Chili Peppers bass player Flea, and Yorke’s two solo releases.
“The Panic Office” will open on May 24 at Carriageworks and will run through June 6.
Meanwhile, Radiohead are currently working on their new album, which will mark their follow-up to 2011’s “King of Limbs.”
