Jack White’s Dead Weather is Back
The Dead Weather has returned
One of Jack White’s many bands is back. The Dead Weather has returned, featuring Jack White on drums, as well as Queens of the Stone Age’s Dean Fertita, the Kills’ Alison Mosshart and the Raconteurs’ Jack Lawrence. The band will unleash their third album, “Dodge & Burn” in September. A pre-order package is currently available through the Third Man Records Vault subscription service.
Although the Dead Weather are releasing new music, the group will not tour to promote “Dodge & Burn.” Looking at the bands collectively involved with the Dead Weather, it’s obvious band members are busy with other projects. Meanwhile, White has already said he’s taking a break from touring the rest of this year.
“Thankfully the thick and heavy “Dodge & Burn” will satisfy your urges for the dark magic that is The Dead Weather for a very long time,” a press release reads about the project.
“Dodge & Burn” will offer eight new songs as well as four previously released tunes that have been remixed and remastered. “Dodge & Burn” marks the follow-up to the Dead Weather’s last release, 2010’s “Sea of Cowards.”
