Corey Taylor Slaps Wrestler in WWE NXT ‘Argument’
Corey Taylor got into it with a WWE NXT superstar at Aftershock festival
Corey Taylor spent this past weekend headlining the Monster Energy Aftershock festival with his band Slipknot, but making music isn’t the only think he did at the festival. At Aftershock, Taylor into a “fued” with WWE NXT wrestler Baron Corbin.
At Aftershock’s WWE NXT tent, Taylor — who also fronts Stone Sour – and Corbin exchanged some unkind words, and that’s when Taylor slapped Corbin.
“Slipknot ain’t nobody in my house,” Corbin said, which prompted the slap from Taylor. After that exchange, Corbin’s opponent, Samoa Joe, grabbed him and threw him into the stairs and the match continued.
WWE NXT was also at Louder than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, earlier this month. At that festival, Corbin told Audio Ink Radio that he’s a big fan of heavy music.
When he works out, Corbin says he listens to “everything from Lamb of God to Sevendust. Anything in that world of heavy music is what gets me going. I can’t always listen to it, so I also have my folk music and stuff like that. I listen to everything from folk music to heavy metal.”
