Soundgarden vocalist Chris Cornell is spending much of 2016 on the road

If Chris Cornell didn’t hit your city on his solo tour last year, you have a second chance. The Soundgarden frontman has just announced a new round of North American headlining tour dates behind his most recent solo album, “Higher Truth.” His new U.S. shows will kick off June 16 in Clearwater, Florida, and run through a July 20 date in Spokane, Washington. Following the U.S. gigs, Cornell will had to Canada for five stops. For ticket information, head to ChrisCornell.com.

Staying in line with Cornell’s other solo treks, $1 from every ticket sold will benefit the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation. Cornell and his wife founded that organization to help children vulnerable to homelessness, poverty, abuse or neglect.

“Higher Truth,” Cornell’s fourth solo studio album, arrived in September 2015. The album spawned a radio hit in the single, “Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart.”
