Royal Blood Release New Song, ‘Where Are You Now?’
Hear the latest tune from U.K. rock duo Royal Blood
Here’s some good news for Royal Blood fans: The guys have finally released new music. The U.K. rock duo has unleashed a riffing new tune called “Where Are You Now?” This song is currently streaming via YouTube and can be heard below.
“Where Are You Now?” is off the new volume of the soundtrack for “Vinyl,” HBO’s television show revolving around the music industry in 1970s New York City.
The guys of Royal Blood were inspired to contribute a track after viewing a trailer for the series.
“Hearing (‘Vinyl’ protagonist) Richie Finestra talk about the first time you heard a song that made your hairs on the back of your neck stand up or made you wanna dance … I just wanted to write that gave me that sort of buzz,” frontman Mike Kerr told Noisey regarding “Where Are You Now?”
“Where Are You Now?” marks Royal Blood’s first bit of new music since releasing their self-titled debut album in 2014. The band spent much of last year on the road opening for Foo Fighters in North America. Royal Blood are in the midst of working on their sophomore album.
