Jeff Beck to Release New Album this Summer

Jeff Beck’s new album will arrive right as he hits the road this summer

English guitar great Jeff Beck will release a new studio album this summer, right around the time he’ll hit the road on a tour with Buddy Guy. Beck’s album, which has yet to get a title, will arrive on July 15. The collection will mark the follow-up to his 2010 release, “Emotion & Commotion.”

Beck will kick off his tour with Guy on July 19 in Port Chester, New York, and he’ll say on the road through a solo stop on Aug. 21 in Seattle. The tour includes a concert on Aug. 10 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles to honor his 50-year music career.

Aside from the new music, Beck will release, “BECK01,” a limited-edition coffee-table book, on July 12. The book will revolve around his love for guitars and fast cars, with more than 400 photos and a forward written by guitarist John McLaughlin. Beck will sign each copy.
