Anthrax to Release Signature Craft Beer
Metal band Anthrax is getting their own, signature craft beer
The metal men of Anthrax are getting into the craft beer business with their own signature beer, Wardance. The bubbly, metallic brew comes via a partnership with Butternuts brewery.
“Finding the right taste that all of us loved was really important,” drummer Charlie Benante said in an official statement. “But it was also important that the beer not leave people feeling heavy or filled up afterwards. The other thing I love about our beer is that it goes really well with a burger. It’s the one beer to have when you’re having a ‘Wardance.’”
Wardance will be launched in New York State starting March 27. Anthax plan to make the beer available in other states after the initial launch. Anthrax are from New York City, so it makes sense that the beer would be available in New York State first.
In other news, Anthrax will launch off on a co-headlining tour with Killswitch Engage in late March and stay on the road through May. Killswitch Engage and Anthrax will rotate who closes out each show. The Devil Wears Prada is also on the bill. Find the list of tour dates here.
