Watch Dan Donegan surprise a Disturbed fan who couldn’t attend the band’s concert because of surgeries

Disturbed guitarist Dan Donegan surprised a loyal fan in the hospital in Norway last weekend (March 10) after receiving a note from the fan explaining he was unable to attend the group’s concert in Oslo due to undergoing some surgeries. This was at the end of Disturbed’s European tour with Avenged Sevenfold.

Donegan stopped by Svein Heibø’s hospital room, chatted a bit, gave him Disturbed tour T-shirts, guitar picks and an autographed drumhead. Watch a video of the visit below.

“A fan private-messaged me the other day to tell me how bummed he was (because) he planned to see our show in Oslo, Norway but he’s been in the hospital for the past three weeks and underwent two surgeries and wouldn’t be able to come,” Donegan said. “I thought I would drop in to surprise him.”

He added, “I’m glad you mentioned the hospital, we had them look into it to find out how close you were to us, and if we could have enough time to stop by and say ‘hello.’”

Later in the conversation, Donegan told the fan, “Next time we come back here, keep in contact with me, and we’ll put you on the guest list and get you out so you don’t miss the last one.”

In other news, Disturbed plan to hit the studio later this year to start work on an acoustic EP. They then plan to begin sessions for the follow-up to their 2015 studio album, “Immortalized.”
