Chester Bennington Tribute Show to Feature Members of Blink-182, Korn + More

Story by Charles Ken
The members of Blink-182, Jonathan Davis of Korn and more will honor Chester Bennington
The surviving members of Linkin Park will hold a special memorial show in honor of late frontman Chester Bennington in October, and they’re bringing some major guests along to participate in the event.
Special guests slated to appear at the show include Korn’s Jonathan Davis, the members of Blink-182, M. Shadow sand Synyster Gates of Avenged Sevenfold and System of a Down’s Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian and John Dolmayan. Blink-182 was supposed to perform two gigs with Linkin Park, called Blinkin Park, in August.
Other musicians who will be present at the event include Yellowcard’s Ryan Key and Bring Me the Horizon’s Oli Sykes, as well as rapper Machine Gun Kelly, who was slated to open for Linkin Park on their summer tour. Pop star Kiiara, who sang guest vocals on Linkin Park’s “Heavy,” will also be at the show.
The one-night concert, named Linkin Park & Friends Celebrate Life in Honor of Chester Bennington, was announced earlier this week. It will be the first time the band’s surviving five members will perform together since Bennington’s death in July.
The show will take place Oct. 27 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California. Tickets for the event went on sale today (Sept. 22) via LinkinPark.com.
