Five Finger Death Punch show resilience in their latest music video

The guys of Five Finger Death Punch has been firing on all cylinders lately, especially when it comes to playing shows. The band has been hitting the road hard this fall with a mix of headlining gigs and festival stops, including a set right before Ozzy Osbourne at the 2017 Louder than Life festival in Louisville, Kentucky, last weekend.

Now, Five Finger Death Punch has released a new music video for their song “Ain’t My Last Dance,” a track from their latest album, “Got Your Six.” The video and track have special meaning, too.

The video, which debuted via NME.com, features a collection of live concert footage to preview the band’s upcoming European tour, which will set off in November. The song’s message is one of resilience and coming back after a difficult time.

This summer was a trying one for Five Finger Death Punch, as frontman Ivan Moody had to exit the band for a while to deal with rehab, but the guys are strong and came out ahead. Rhythm guitarist Zoltan Bathory tells NME that the new music video is also a commentary on the band’s difficult summer. Moody returned to Five Finger Death Punch in August.

“We thought this was the perfect song to address the various rumors circulating out there,” Bathory said. “Ivan is doing great and the band is firing on all cylinders. Not just isn’t this our ‘last dance’ but as we are gearing up for the (upcoming) European tour, we are kicking it up a notch and building our biggest stage show to date.”

The gents of Five Finger Death Punch are slated to perform at New Jersey’s Rock Allegiance festival on Oct. 7 and California’s Aftershock on Oct. 22.
