Ozzy Osbourne Announces 2018 Farewell Tour Dates
Ozzy Osbourne has announced that his forthcoming world tour will be his final one. The trek, which will feature Zakk Wylde on guitar, will kick off in 2018 and run through 2020.
While the full slate of tour dates has yet to be revealed, Ozzy has unleashed the first dates, which are set to kick off in May of 2018 with a batch of South American shows.
He’ll then reach Russia and Europe in June and July. View Ozzy’s current tour itinerary via Ozzy.com.
Dates for the upcoming North American leg of Ozzy Osbourne’s farewell tour are expected to be announced in 2018. “People keep asking me when I’m retiring,” Osbourne said in an official statement.
“This will be my final world tour, but I can’t say I won’t do some shows here and there.” That said, it sounds like Ozzy will remain open for some one-offs, but not another full-fledged tour.
Ozzy, of course, recently closed out his final tour with Black Sabbath, dubbed “The End” tour, and the run sold out arenas around the world.
For Ozzy’s upcoming solo trek, he’ll be joined by Wylde on guitar, as well as longtime bass player Blasko, drummer Tommy Clufetos and keyboard player Adam Wakeman.
