Hoobastank Announces ‘The Reason’ 15th Anniversary Tour
Hoobastank is celebrating the 15th anniversary of their sophomore album, ‘The Reason,’ with a tour
Hoobastank broke out of the post-grunge landscape with their 2003 sophomore album, “The Reason,” which featured a massive crossover hit with the album’s title track. Now, frontman Doug Robb and company have announced a special tour in honor of the album’s 15th anniversary, appropriately dubbed “The Reason” tour.
The tour will feature Hoobastank performing “The Reason” from front to back. The run kicks off Oct. 25 in Portland, Oregon, and runs through a Nov. 30 in Phoenix. For full details and tickets, head to Hoobastank.com.
“‘The Reason’ tour signifies a lot,” Robb said in a statement. “First, we get to revisit a time in our career that was so exciting and groundbreaking for both us and our fans. You don’t get that opportunity too often. Second, it reminds us how fortunate we have been to be able to do this for so long. It’s humbling. Each show will be like a time machine for our fans and us.”
Aside from the title track hit, “The Reason” also scored the guys two rock singles in “Out of Control” and “Same Direction.” Hoobastank first garnered attention from the rock crowd with their earlier hit, “Crawling in the Dark.”
Hoobastank is still making music. The band unleashed a new studio album, “Push Pull,” in May.
