Here are the 20 top-selling vinyl albums from Record Store Day 2019

This year’s Record Store Day took place on Saturday, April 13, and the numbers are in. According to Billboard, the day helped push vinyl sales to record-breaking numbers, with 827,000 vinyl albums sold during the week ending April 20. That’s the highest number ever for a Record Store Day week and the third highest weekly number since Nielsen Music started recording record sales in 1991. Last year, Record Store Day week brought sales of 733,000, so it was a significant jump.

The top-selling full album released as part of Record Store Day’s incentives was the two-LP Grateful Dead live set, “Warfield: San Francisco, California, October 9th, 1980/October 10th, 1980,” which was sold on vinyl and CD.

Close behind at No. 2 was Bob Dylan’s “Blood on the Tracks: Test Pressing,” and sitting at No. 3 was Green Day’s Record Store Day exclusive, which was their “Green Day Live! Woodstock 1994” record.

Other bands and artists with top-selling vinyl albums on Record Store Day included Greta Van Fleet, Pearl Jam, Weezer, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac and The Doors. Find a list of the best-selling 2019 Record Store Day vinyl albums below.
