Theory of a Deadman will release their seventh studio album, “Say Nothing,” in early 2020

The guys of Theory of a Deadman have been in the studio, working on their seventh studio album, and now, the band is ready to share it with the world. Theory of a Deadman will release their latest set, called “Say Nothing,” on Jan. 31.

Along with the news of a new album, the band has released the album’s first single, “History of Violence,” which is available now via digital stores. The music video for the song is currently streaming via YouTube and portrays a woman who goes to prison after shooting her abusive husband.

“‘History of Violence’ tells the sad story of a girl trapped in a life of domestic abuse, leaving her with what she feels is the only way to escape,” frontman Tyler Connolly said in a statement. “Even though she’s in jail, it’s still a better place to be than being imprisoned in real life by this man.”

Theory of a Deadman also gives the phone number for the National Domestic Violence Hotline on their socials: 1-800-799-7233.

“Say Nothing” will mark Theory of a Deadman’s follow-up to 2017’s “Wake Up Call.”
