Dirty Honey Announces 2020 Headlining Tour

Dirty Honey will embark on their first major headlining tour in early 2020
Dirty Honey will hit the road in 2020 on a headlining tour. The winter jaunt will kick off Jan. 17 in Austin, Texas, and will run through a Feb. 28 date in Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale Friday (Nov. 22) at 10 a.m. local time via DirtyHoney.com.
Dirty Honey hit a milestone last month when the band’s debut single, “When I’m Gone,” reached No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs chart, making them the first independent band to do so.
Guitarist John Notto told Audio Ink Radio that the band was surprised be the song’s success.
“We’ve always been so involved with the ‘70s rock stuff. I think you can tell what we’re inspired by, and until this whole whirlwind of success, the few years that we were in the trenches, I wasn’t convinced anybody liked rock ‘n roll anymore,” he said. “But we live in LA, so it’s hard to tell. I love LA, but it’s a different bubble here, so it was hard to tell if we’d ever be a hit band.”
The group’s second single, “Rolling 7s,” is currently inside the chart’s top 30.
“When I’m Gone” and “Rolling 7s” both appear on Dirty Honey’s self-titled debut EP, which is available now.
