Ozzy Osbourne’s holiday playlist features a range of artists, from AC/DC to Weezer to John Lennon and more
What kind of music does the great Ozzy Osbourne listen to over the holidays? The metal vocalist has shared his official holiday playlist, and it includes a bevy of rock and metal Christmas staples, so most of the picks come at no surprise.
Osbourne’s playlist features 36 holiday songs, including festive tunes by heavy acts such as AC/DC, Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford, Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor, Korn, Slade, Type O Negative, Twisted Sister and Black Label Society and Ozzy himself. The list also packs lighter classics such as John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s “Happy Xmas (War Is Over),” Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime” and The Kinks’ “Father Christmas,” as well as a few tunes from pop-er acts, such as Weezer.
The playlist spikes in a few non-holiday tunes, including four of Osbourne’s own tracks, including his latest singles “Under the Graveyard” and “Straight to Hell.”
Looking ahead to 2020, Osbourne is schedule to embark on North American and European tours, rescheduled from shows that were originally set to take place in 2019 but were delayed due to health issues. He will also release his new solo record, “Ordinary Man,” in early 2020.
