Rage Against the Machine Adds Boston Calling and Firefly Festivals to Roster
Rage Against the Machine has added two more major music festivals to the band’s 2020 reunion run
One of the biggest reunion stories of the year is that Rage Against the Machine is reuniting in 2020 for a handful of festival shows and, fans are hoping, a larger tour. Earlier this year, Rage was confirmed to headline the 2020 Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California.
Now, Rage Against the Machine has announced two more headlining festival appearances at the 2020 Boston Calling and Firefly festivals, set for May 22-24 at Boston’s Harvard Athletic Complex and June 18-21 in the Woodlands of Dover, Delaware, respectively.
As for the other acts, Boston Calling will also feature headliners Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers, plus a mix of pop and rock acts, such as The 1975, Brittany Howard, Angels & Airwaves, The Struts, Liam Gallagher, Andrew W.K., Banks, Dreamers and more.
Firefly will also bring performances from David Lee Roth, Blink-182, Billie Eilish, Cage the Elephant, CHVRCHES, Grouplove, Cold War Kids, K.Flay, The Glorious Sons and Badflower, among others.

Rage Against the Machine’s 2020 reunion will mark the first time the band has performed together since 2011. In addition to Coachella, Boston Calling and Firefly, the band has announced three concerts in cities near U.S.-Mexico border: El Paso, Texas, Las Cruces, New Mexico and Phoenix, Arizona.
