The Smashing Pumpkins Gearing Up for Rock Invasion 2 U.S. Tour
The Smashing Pumpkins are offering fans a sequel to their 1993-1994 Rock Invasion tour with the Rock Invasion 2 U.S. tour
Billy Corgan and the Smashing Pumpkins are hitting the road on a new round of tour dates. Dubbed the Rock Invasion 2 U.S. tour, the trek is the band’s sequel to their 1993-1994 Rock Invasion tour.
The spring tour will set off April 23 in Louisville, Kentucky, and run through a May 8 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
“It’s been a good while since we’ve played a straight up, bare knuckle rock and roll show; one that avoids little in the way of raw power,” Corgan said in a statement. “So note: this tour won’t be for those faint of heart, and will certainly echo the dynamic modes in which we built our live reputation.”
Tickets for the Rock Invasion 2 tour go on sale to the general public starting today (March 6) at 10 a.m. local time. For ticket information, head to SmashingPumpkins.com.
Following the Rock Invasion dates, the Pumpkins will be opening select dates on the Guns N’ Roses summer North American tour.
